Winnipeg Sun Editorial: Martin no Mr. Clean

Winnipeg Sun Editorial: Martin no Mr. Clean: "Let's just savour this statement for a moment. It comes to us courtesy of Scott Reid, a senior communications official in the office of the prime minister of Canada a day after the most shocking allegations yet at an inquiry into the sponsorship scandal known simply as AdScam.
'Paul Martin is the wire brush that will scrub clean this stain on Canadian politics,' Reid said yesterday, apparently with a straight face. "

Crooks in high places

Thursday's revelations from Jean Brault simply confirmed what most Canadians have known or suspected for a long time. The Liberal party, starting with Pierre Trudeau, has morphed from a political party into a criminal organization.

What will happen? Nothing. The majority of Canadians, particularly those who reside in Southern Ontario, will again deny or refuse to admit that they are condoning and abetting crime by voting these crooks back into office again and again.

What should happen? Well for starters, the Liberals should be designated as a criminal organization and banned from public assembly for a minimum of no less than 20 years. Further, each known Liberal supporter should be forced to wear a black armband for the same 20 years and be paraded in front of the masses at exhibitions, fairs, festivals, etc.

(How about sending the criminals to jail?)
