Matter to be finally decided in the Court of Appeals

I believe that this trial by fire and attrition illustrates the need for reform in the justice system. It is ironic that the government on the public's behave is willing to spend more then the amount of the "reputed" crime to make a point ,which to some, is yet unclear. It seems unfair that a financially stressed individual with limited resources must again defend ( without recompense or recourse )against those paid by , and with the unlimited resources of the national purse. How is it that nobody at Revenue Canada has been brought to account for releasing the money in the first place.

The court of appeal ruling should be interesting. It will be interesting to finally hear from the Revenue Canada Auditor who audited and approved the project advances. It is unfortunate that trial judge Millinetti did not allow him to speak-many where interested in what he had to say.

The estimated time for a decision is over two years from now . So much for the concept of a speedy trial , being able to confront your accussers or being adjucated by your peers in a timely manner. . .
