Through a UN-sponsored non-governmental organization, International Council for Local Environmental Initiatives (ICLEI), the plan is brought into local towns and counties.  This is an international membership organization that gives sample laws and policies to local governments, and then monitors their progress.  ICLEI’s founders wrote part of UN Agenda 21 (Chapter 28), and prepared a guide The Local Agenda 21 Planning Guide, that is used in many US cities and counties to write the social, environmental, and land use elements of their General Plans.

We are witnessing the transformation of our government, schools, and legal system through the implementation of this comprehensive plan of action.  People around the nation, and in the state of Oklahoma, are joining together in a non-partisan effort to KICK ICLEI OUT of our towns, cities, and counties, and to purge UN Agenda 21/Sustainable Development principles from our local, state, and federal laws and regulations.
