Those that make these rules seem to be immune to their consequences. The do as I say ,but not as I do is unfair,unreasonable and incentivizes bad decision making. They should be subject to the same conditions and outcomes as the rules they propagate to the weakest link in the chain . The essential vs unessential cherry choice picking would be reduced if they suffered the same consequences as the conditions they have imposed on the unessential.
